Mar, Wed 31st, 2010 Posted in : SEO Tips & Techniques By : Kyle F 0 Comments Tags: blogger, search engine spiders, seo techniques, wordpress

With many websites, and especially new ones, it can be very frustrating when search engine spiders are not crawling your website as often as you would like. There are many SEO techniques that can help speed up this process but the easiest and most beneficial way is to start blogging.

By blogging on a consistent basis you are giving search engine spiders a reason to visit your website. And by linking internally within each post you are providing a roadmap for the spiders to follow. We discussed this SEO technique in the our previous post.

One other strategy involves using a blog platform that does not lie within your domain. By using WordPress.com or Blogger.com to blog from you are using an established web domain and providing content rich links directly back to your new website.

This technique should only be used in the short term because eventually you want all that rich content residing on your domain.
