Though you may understand that blogs are effective, you may be unclear about why blogs actually work.  All of your business colleagues have drummed the importance of an active blog into you, ad nauseum.  You understand that your business could benefit by hiring a blog writing service.  However, truth be told, you are not really all that knowledgeable about how a blogging service can actually improve your bottom line.  So, here’s a quick summary of why blogging is effective, and why it will work for you.

1.  Conversation is good.

Blogging invites interaction.  As you post new content, and invite clients to comment on it, you create a sense of community, and everyone finds that attractive.

2.  Create credibility.

Your blog should focus on something about which you are very knowledgeable.  As you write, in depth, about the things that matter to you, and about which you have some expertise, you will build trust and consumer loyalty.

3.  Increase your reach.

People who read your blog are also more likely to subscribe to your weekly or monthly newsletter, catalog, or product guide.

4.  The networking possibilities are endless.

A blog can be shared via social media platforms very easily, or it can be referenced in other blogs.  The ability for your content to spread is limitless.

5.  Blogs can be more than just words.  Experimentation is good.

Adding video content or music content to your blog, will pique consumer interest, and exponentially increase the number of times your blog posts are shared across social media.  The resulting increase in consumer traffic can be very beneficial.
